I based this article on the category "Comic book podcasts" other podcast lists such as these: List of daily news podcasts, List of food podcasts, List of American crime podcasts, and List of Australian crime podcasts.

Hello AngusWOOF, thank you for reviewing my draft. I've looked further into how to properly create WP:STANDALONE list articles, and I found a number of sources that put together lists of podcasts in this specific genre. In regards to whether the category is sufficient on its own, I'd like to note that lists and categories are WP:NOTDUPE and have quite a few advantages to categories (WP:AOAL). It also appears to be common practice to create lists of podcasts based on genre (Category:Podcasting lists), and there are quite a few comparable examples in other fields of audio production such as List of rock albums and Category:Rock albums as well as List of radio comedies and Category:Radio comedy. I would think that this list now meets the requirements of WP:LISTN and WP:SALAT in that it clearly demonstrates WP:GNG and is not too broad or too narrow of a topic (especially now that I moved the article to include "superhero podcasts" and included some news articles that have created similar lists). I believe that most of the podcasts on the list would meet the selection criteria as well (WP:LISTCRITERIA), although I would be open to removing any that you don't believe meet the necessary requirements.
