SIR stations
[edit]I think that we need SIR stations in here. The May 2014 subway map shows accessible Staten Island Railway stations. Besides, no one's going to create an article about SIR stations anytime soon, much less accessible SIR stations. Epicgenius (talk) 00:12, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- And if it's necessary, the page can be moved to List of accessible New York City subway stations, to cover all three rapid transit systems in New York City. Epicgenius (talk) 00:25, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
- Very little info on the SIR ADA station, just leave it ALONE. It is still part of NYC Subway system. That annoying vandal needs to stop. BWCNY (talk) 04:13, 23 May 2014 (UTC)
This article should transition to Accessibility in the New York City Subway
[edit]With more and more stations becoming accessible, and with more criticism of the MTA, this article should transition from a list to a full-fledged article.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 13:08, 29 October 2017 (UTC)
- If we are going to go at it, can it be also possible to add LIRR, and Metro-North (even though neither of those systems are featured on the main Subway Map), and make this article Accessibility of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, similar to the articles for MBTA accessibility (MBTA), and Toronto Transit Commission accessibility (TTC in Canada)? Roadrunner3000 (talk) 01:12, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
- That could work, because there might not be enough information for a standalone article on the accessibility of Metro-North or of the LIRR. Perhaps when I am done with college applications I will have time to work on this. Thanks for the suggestion.--Kew Gardens 613 (talk) 20:26, 31 October 2017 (UTC)
- No problem! Roadrunner3000 (talk) 23:55, 2 November 2017 (UTC)
I have officially started work on Draft:Accessibility of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, but I'm gonna need lots of help here. One big work still needed is the accessible locations on the LIRR and Metro-North platforms, not to mention the formatting for each station. But for now, what do you think so far?
