Earliest storm to affect state?
[edit]The article asserts Florence is the earliest and links to the 2018 Florence. But this is impossible. There are 3 examples in the major storms list of storms striking on or before the date that Florence even formed. I don't have the info handy to point at the correct storm so I haven't made the change yet. I did add the date of landfall for 2018 Florence ...but pondering if I should just delete the Florence reference altogether? If someone has a reference on which storm was earliest please update. If you try to Google this info the Wikipedia page is the first hit so it is a bit of a glaring error. Jtpatrick (talk) 17:53, 18 May 2020 (UTC)
