Premium/free/other
[edit]Should we add another column, Availability or something, showing whether the pack is "Free" or "Paid"? Is this WP:N? Chimpanzee+ Us | Ta | Co 14:39, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
- We could mention the free ones in the notes section, and by default that would point out the paid for ones. Whilst not Sailing towards WP:NOPRICES, its drifting in that direction. - X201 (talk) 14:43, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
- Instead of that we could just have a "Free" yes/no column. I'm just thinking that it might be more useful to readers to be able to separate the free ones from the non-free ones. That's if we should even have the information at all? It was just an idea really but I'm not sure how useful it would be. What do you think?Chimpanzee+ Us | Ta | Co 15:28, 11 February 2011 (UTC)
Toy Story DLC
[edit]The Toy Story Alien costume will probably appear in one of the Toy Story packs. I think the best way of handling it would be to leave the date field for the Alien empty and add a note to the end say "Alien costume was also released in Toy Story Pack x". The same will probably be true of Gonzo as well, I doubt that they'd make just a single Muppet DLC. Any thoughts?- X201 (talk) 08:02, 6 July 2011 (UTC)
Portal 2
[edit]Can you make Portal 2 Costume and Level Kit — Preceding unsigned comment added by TheDarkPyrano (talk • contribs) 20:28, 7 July 2011 (UTC)
- Have you got a link that says that Media Molecule are going to make Portal 2 costumes/Level kit? We can't add anything to the article unless it can be backed up with a link to a news story on a reliable website. - X201 (talk) 20:47, 7 July 2011 (UTC)

Needs a major overhaul
[edit]With the recent announcement of LittleBigPlanet 3 and the confirmation of backward-compatibility with existing DLC, this and the other article are really in need of an overhaul so we can accurately show cross-compatibility. The best way to do this that I can think of is to create two new pages to replace these:
- List of LittleBigPlanet costume packs
- A table listing costume name, first release date, notes, LBP, LBP 2, LBP 3, LBP V, LBP K - the last 5 being yes/no columns.
- List of LittleBigPlanet content packs
- A table for each game (similar to the existing tables) showing pack name, first release date, #levels, #costumes, #stickers, other content. These tables wouldn't include packs that only contain costumes.
There would need to be some overlap in these articles where packs contain costumes and other content. Thoughts? Chimpanzee Us | Ta | Co 12:23, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- How about this?...
Pack name and citation | First released | Notes | Compatibility | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | 2 | 3 | V | K | |||
DC Comics Costume Pack 1 → | 17 Dec 2013 | Pack contains: Superman, Supergirl, Lex Luthor, Brainiac and Bizarro. | No | Yes | No | Yes | Yes |
DC Comics Costume Pack 2 → | 8 Jan 2014 | Pack contains: Batman Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Batgirl. | Yes | No | Yes | No | No |
- I'm still pondering how to handle the cross-over stuff. - X201 (talk) 15:02, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- Yes, something like that. Is there a better way to handle the compatibility column headings. I think they're too abbreviated at the moment (especially V and K). How about
Pack name and citation | First released | Notes | Compatibility | ||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
LBP 1 | LBP 2 | LBP 3 | Vita | Karting | |||
DC Comics Costume Pack 1 → | 17 Dec 2013 | Pack contains: Superman, Supergirl, Lex Luthor, Brainiac and Bizarro. | No | Yes | No | Yes | Yes |
DC Comics Costume Pack 2 → | 8 Jan 2014 | Pack contains: Batman Joker, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy and Batgirl. | Yes | No | Yes | No | No |
- I don't think there's any way around listing costumes on both pages in cases like the Weekend Pursuits Costume Pack. I don't think this is a major problem given that each article serves its own purpose. Chimpanzee Us | Ta | Co 11:58, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- We could go with "What is the main thing/reason for the pack?" and put the rest in the notes e.g The Muppets Premium Level Kit exists to package the creation materials but you also get a Rowlf costume with it. The costume isn't the main point of the pack, but it is part of it. - X201 (talk) 08:34, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
- So the Muppets pack wouldn't appear on the Costumes page? My thinking was that the Costumes list includes all DLC costumes regardless of what sort of pack they come in. The other list would show all DLC packs excepts the ones that only include costumes. Chimpanzee Talk 09:28, 20 June 2014 (UTC)
