No official confirmation

[edit]

I have deleted the information for the March 22, 2010 event. I could find no official confirmation that the funnel cloud ever touched down. I did find one reference [1] stating that a "funnel cloud touched down", however, I did not find any mention of damages (or lack thereof) in that article which I would fully expect to see for a tornado in an area that gets so few of them (even a few shingles missing would likely be newsworthy). Because of this, as well as the fact that I could find no other sources confirming a touchdown, I find the information contained in that article to be questionable. Hawaii tornadoes season

[edit]

So just saying, I feel like most of Hawaii’s tornadoes happen in the winter months, because well first of all, there’s warm air and cold air, so any rain storms that spawn could turn into thunderstorms, and then, if there’s like two wind currents, hitting it other, could start a tornado , my own experience, where someone on Twitter found a land spout here on Maui during some rain, and also the same year there was a thunderstorm. 98.155.146.131 (talk) 05:59, 4 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
