Um...
[edit]...why? This strikes me as a blatant attempt to circumvent the AFD process; there was solid consensus to delete in most of the associated AFDs. I'm tempted to nominate it. --Coredesat 05:19, 15 December 2007 (UTC)
- Feel free. (This article was created after a slew of AfD nominations, mostly successful, were made for articles about individual schools in the district.) The idea, which tends to be the consensus in these deletion discussions, is that articles with a broader subject encompassing all schools or a class of schools in a school district, is a more appropriate spot for information about schools for which WP:N has not been established individually. Often redirects will go to the school district, but in this case the district is so large that having 2-4 paragraphs of info on each school is impractical. If I thought each school article was worth keeping, I would have !voted that way, and I would have found enough sourcing to justify Wikipedia notability standards. Creating this article is not a circumvention at all: It's an attempt to do something constructive with consensus. Noroton (talk) 01:23, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Actually, at this point I don't really care what happens with the article, just trim down all the infoboxes, since they make the list look a little cluttered. --Coredesat 03:10, 20 December 2007 (UTC)
- Done. But if you don't care what happens, why make suggestions? RossPatterson (talk) 23:56, 19 January 2008 (UTC)
