If possible, we can start by finding a way to integrate Mew York City Mayor Eric Adams’ attempt in 2022 to confront the HUD ban on cannabis/marijuana. We can swap that for the Anchorage Alaska Local Ordinances section of the Legal history of cannabis in the United States with an added source of the rebuttal by Police Chief Michael Kerle. Does that sound fair for a start? Twillisjr (talk) 16:51, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not up to speed on Adams is doing but if it's a solid proposal made in 2024, it's probably fair game. Up to now the list has been focused on tangible legislative proposals, but there has been some background before on DOJ memoranda, I think. I'd even be OK with adding a section here for the 2024 presidential campaign concerning proposed changes to US drug policy in general, or cannabis policy/regulation specifically. ☆ Bri (talk) 20:48, 11 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ran into an issue with another editor so I left a message on your talk page (although something went wrong, you can see the attempt). The Anchorage, Alaska info was merged here. Twillisjr (talk) 14:20, 12 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I removed a brief description of the recent threat by Texas Attorney General to reverse decrim in certain cities. It is encyclopedic; however it probably should go at Cannabis in Texas instead. Per the title of this page it is reform proposals which does not include return to the 1990s status quo, i.e. prohibition. ☆ Bri (talk) 17:26, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
this article is not a list. the 2022 article was a proper list but this and 2023 are just articles. page should be renamed. "2024 in United States cannabis reform proposals"? Nicoli nicolivich (talk) 22:53, 18 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Unnecessary IMO. A list is a list, whether it's formatted with a table, bullets, or un-bulleted paragraphs. ☆ Bri (talk) 05:54, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
