Working on it
[edit]A reference should be added for :
"The agency previously had a commuter route to the Washington State Capitol in Olympia beginning in November, 2013, but the route was eliminated in September, 2014 as part of a service reduction that also included all Sunday service."
It's not crucial information but part of the lines history nonetheless. Can stay or go?
The old reference was dead but clearly must have mentioned this detail, but haven't found a good lead yet to replace it!

Required to "talk it out"...
[edit]Man, does WP:BRD have serious loopholes. The reverting editor doesn't have to explain themselves at all yet can be called bold. The content editor can have their boldness superseded, and has no choice but to sway their hips to the reverter's music, whose boldness can't be overruled until you dance. Honestly, I'm not even sure what the revert editor's song choice was. "Over-emphasis"? Is that a Christina Aguilera song? Fergie's Star-Spangled Banner rendition? Maybe it's a house remix of Who Let the Dogs Out. I'm gonna take a stab at it with my Gen-X moves; let's hope I'm close to the beats and the rhythm and my knees hold out.
Sigh, an argument for another day.
Fine. Here it goes...
Editor reverted and significantly altered my edits on July 27-28th in which I attempted to convey that an historical green energy, hydrogen fuel station was being built in Washington state in Chehalis. I created a new section, with four sentences(!) of detail and refs from a Wiki-recognized and reputable news source that's been in existence since 1889.
So, with that out of the way, why is this info important to add to the article page, in a separate section, and why should it not be reduced to some brief side note? Here we go...
- The hydrogen fuel station will be the first ever in Washington state
- The station is being built in Chehalis, Washington
- The city of Chehalis is a main service area of Twin Transit
- Twin Transit will be the administer/overseer of the fuel station
- The station will be a separate facility within the Twin Transit system
- Twin Transit will use the station
- One of many factors of building the station in Chehalis is Twin Transit's want to use hydrogen fuel buses
- Twin Transit purposefully bought two hydrogen fuel powered buses in anticipation of this station
- Those buses are already mentioned in the History section of the article
- The significance of this station would easily get lost in what is already a History section rich in details, including (for a bit of fun!), the mind-numbing banality of tax and voting referendums
Now, that's pretty cut-and-dry to me. An historical first, overseen and to be used by the topic of the article. It deserves it's own section because it's more than just some brief historical footnote and it is beyond Twin Transit history or buses. The fuel station is its own facility. This is, to me, a clear separate section that fits within the scope of the topic of the article.
So, the removed section carried some detail about the station itself. Necessary? Sure, and here's why...
- The station is a Twin Transit facility
- The fuel station will provide hydrogen fuel and at different pressures
- The limited specs and facts would be interesting to readers who found that kind of thing interesting (not the best reason, but come on, have you not read a bunch of stuff on Wiki that bores you to tears but makes other people swoon with giddiness?)
- Any facility that is written about on Wiki usually contains brief but detailed specs, including size and location, and in energy facilities, such as this case, energy usage and production
- The article, and other transit articles in Western WA, go into heavy detail about transit properties, facilities, mechanical inventory, energy consumption/production, and oversight
Now, before I get the WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS accusation, keep in mind, transit articles in Western WA (often created or heavily expanded by the reverting editor) follow, almost without fail, a consistent structure of multiple yet different sections and subsections rich with details that are heavy on routes, bus types, tax referendums, facilities (including their sizes and purpose), energy usage, costs for maintenance, and in many cases, parking lot size and capacity! My attempts in this separate section are no different than what the reverting editor has personally accomplished consistently on nearly a hundred transit/transportation hub articles within Western WA. Their history of reverts on those same pages show a long dedication to keeping richly detailed, section and subsection heavy, transit and transportation hub pages.
To conclude, a significant green energy first should not be relegated to a brief mention hidden at the end of an already dry History section. The hydrogen fuel station, while under Twin Transit authority, is a significant entity (a facility) within the business to warrant it's own detailed section...four massive sentences, such as it was!
The reverting editor and I have what could be politely called a cantankerous relationship, so mediation on this one-section, four sentence issue may be necessary if my obvious points are unseen, which would cause me to worry that Wikipedia should heavily invest on an in-house ophthalmologist.
