"According to church records in Baden, Leopold also had two sons with Sophia Vittali, the daughter of an Italian-born merchant named Pietro Vittali: Charles Emil August Vittali (born in 1831) and Otto Hermann Leopold Vittali (born in 1832).^[1]"
