De-orphaned
[edit]I de-orphaned this article by linking to husband Dean B. McLaughlin. Spacecat711 (talk) 22:57, 18 March 2021 (UTC)Spacecat711
Ref. [3]
[edit]This ref doesn't appear to mention Laura Mclaughlin - admittedly my reading of the 13 pages was somewhat cursory ... but if I'm right, what's the point of the ref> Prisoner of Zenda (talk) 10:49, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Tertiary qualifications
[edit]Mclaughlin received a BA in 1917, followed by an "AM" some time later (year not specified), and a PhD in 1929. Should "AM" be MA? Prisoner of Zenda (talk) 10:53, 28 September 2021 (UTC)
Computer?
[edit]The intro states that Mclaughlin "was a computer, instructor, and researcher of astronomy." What is meant (I think) is that she made astronomical computations ... maybe this is better than "computer", which has an entirely different connotation?
