Is there any reason why the original 7-inch single mix of the song that was released in the United Kingdom by Epic Records in 1984 is not currently mentioned in this article? As far as I'm aware (and unless I'm mistaken), after the two original 1984 7-inch singles containing the original mix (Epic GA4949 and Epic QA4949) were deleted by Epic, future reissues of the song (starting in 1985) used an edited version of the 12-inch extended "pudding mix" from 1984 as the official single version, and the original 7-inch single mix of the song from 1984 by all accounts has never appeared on a Wham! or George Michael album, soundtrack album (like that for the 2019 film Last Christmas), or holiday compilation album. I would think that the original 7-inch single mix of the song would be significant enough to mention in the article.
