Cast of Characters Vs. League of Extraordinary Gentlemen lawsuit

This section is barely about Larry Cohen...

It does start with the lawsuit, but then goes on to elaborate extensively about Alan Moore's feelings about the whole thing - in a manner clearly very sympathetic, suggesting the section was written by Moore himself or some fan or rep.

Anyway, apart form the beginning and conclusion (settlement out of court), the rest belongs to the Alan Moore's page, not Larry Cohen's. - Fils du Soleil (talk) 01:36, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Very, very NPOV

The article looks like it was written by Larry Cohen or else by his most rabid fan. As usual, there's lot of aggrandizement, non-neutral language, and a total lack of citations. So I'm axing most of the article and leaving an NPOV tag over the more messy, arguably notable stuff since a play-by-play of his greatest films that no one has ever heard of or given a citable positive review to is clearly over-promoting a b-lister whose films have been greeted by nearly universal critical disdain according to IMDB, Rotten Tomatoes, etc. It's not reasonable to call every film that was critically panned a "cult" film--even if it's a "cult" or "underground" hit there will be reliable, citable evidence for this. -AnarchyintheUKR —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.90.15.57 (talk) 22:39, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date/age conflict

This article, and many obituaries, have stated that Cohen was born on July 15, 1941, and therefore died at age 77. However, two obits published in the last two days from notable sources currently state that Cohen was 82:

The use of the word sequel

It is used incorrectly at least 2 times. Phone Booth is not a sequel. I love Wikipedia and use it daily. I've never tried to correct a page. No hard feelings. Keep up the good work! Thank you 2601:282:1380:D5E0:E9BC:175:D1FD:A114 (talk) 09:30, 25 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
