Punctuation
[edit]So is it Lady’s Island or Lady’s Island? Both are used in this description (along with several other errors), but I would like to know the correct spelling/punctuation of the actual name of the island. Does anyone know? 50.236.130.62 (talk) 21:21, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
- I think you meant "is it Ladys Island or Lady's Island." Actually, Google maps lists the island as Lady's Island. The island has a long history and has been called Ladies Island, Ladys Island, and more recenlty Lady's Island. See clipping at: The Beaufort Gazette when it was called Ladies Island. I have corrected some of the places where it was inconsistent. Please let me know if there are any other errors. Greg Henderson (talk) 22:28, 22 January 2023 (UTC)
