Logo usage

[edit]

The SAGE logo is very out of date, the Octothorpe isn't even used now. The new SAGE logo probably should be used, however I'm not sure of its copyright. JSBillings 15:57, 23 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

SAGE-WISE

[edit]

It seems that SAGE-WISE has disappeared. I can't find any references to it since 2004. Unless anyone knows / can find better the link should probably be removed. Rthorton 16:48, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

cSAGE Certification

[edit]

It seems like cSAGE Certification is no longer active. Please confirm. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Mor.sela (talkcontribs) 05:12, 27 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

LISA

[edit]

SAGE has become LISA. Shouldn't this article (and the USENIX one) be corrected? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Furrfu (talkcontribs) 06:47, 5 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

SAGE (organization)LISA (organization) – The organization formerly known as SAGE has been renamed to LISA. On the article itself, the first link in its external links section is to the former SAGE website, which now redirects to https://www.usenix.org/lisa and specifically explains that SAGE is the former title of the group. Substantial revision of this article is necessary, the first step of which is this move. AmethystChimera (talk) 21:42, 2 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Separation dispute

[edit]

To the extent there is information available in verifiable third-party sources, this article really needs a better treatment of the SAGE separation dispute, how it led to the formation of LOPSA, and the resulting lawsuit. I believe the settlement of the lawsuit bound the parties not to discuss the terms, but it should be possible to find more information about it than what is written here. (I know the basic question at issue in the lawsuit was whether Usenix was a party to the contractual obligations entered into by the people who were forming new-SAGE with the service bureau which was providing management services for the new organization, but I don't have any verifiable sources for this.) 121a0012 (talk) 03:35, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

PROD

[edit]

This article was proposed for deletion by User:AusLondonder on 9 Aug 2015. It was deprodded by User:Mark viking because "This SIG has been around for many years and basic facts are are verifiable; redirect to USENIX would be an obvious alternative to deletion." Whilst I would agree that the basic facts may be verifiable I think the issue at stake is notability rather than verifiability of facts. I can't find substantial coverage of this organization anywhere (as yet), so any help in this area would be appreciated. Djonesuk (talk) 14:13, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
