Googlefight clamors for the page to be moved from this unnatural title to the proper name! --Ghirla | talk 09:04, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't count on googlefight too much here: [1], [2], [3]... Halibutt 11:24, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Nonsense. Googling without the disclaimer for Belarus is the loss of time, because both Klecak and Kleck are popular surnames, so most results refer to people and not the town in question. Please don't mislead yourself and others. As a sidenote, Cyrillic search for Клецк yields some 42,400 hits - all referring to the town. --Ghirla | talk 11:45, 17 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That's why I googled also for Kleck and Kletsk with the "disclaimer". Too bad you hadn't noticed. As usual... //Halibutt 05:15, 1 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

– Per WP:BELARUSIANNAMES, this should follow BGN/PCGN romanization of Belarusian, therefore the letter "е" in "Клецк" should be romanized as "ye" rather than "e". There is also a lack of a clear common name for this particular settlement. Mellk (talk) 14:52, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
