Name

[edit]

I don't know her birth name. She achieved world championship and fame of a sort as Kitty Bethe and was known later as Kitty Munson, later as Kitty Munson Cooper. (The latter, perhaps, having achieved more fame as Munson than as Bethe? or under a new editorial team somewhere? or with a new agent? I don't recall Kitty Bethe Munson.)

I made both Kitty Bethe (5 championships iicc) and Kitty Munson Cooper a "printworthy redirect" for some listings both under B and under M someday. Maybe.

update
My birth name was Catherine Anne Munson but I became Kitty Munson when I was 5. Then Bethe was my first husband (son of Hans) and Cooper is my second husband. Professionally I have kept my maiden as a middle name Kittymcooper (talk) 00:05, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, Kitty M Cooper! --P64 (talk) 00:33, 10 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

See Talk:Gail Greenberg#Name for Alan Truscott's 1985 perspective.
