Kiss of the Spider Woman → Kiss of the Spider Woman (disambiguation) – The novel is the primary meaning; everything else with this name is a derivative of the novel. Georgia guy (talk) 17:41, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose: Although the other topics may be derived from the novel, that doesn't automatically make the novel primary. There are many examples showing that not to be the case. Pageviews favor the film over the novel by a 5:1 ratio and also favor the musical over the novel by a 1.7:1 ratio. Both the film and musical were highly celebrated, with various award recognitions. Even the play gets a significant percentage of the views relative to the novel (about 28%). — BarrelProof (talk) 18:22, 7 December 2023 (UTC)
- Oppose per BarrelProof. There are five bulleted entries listed upon the Kiss of the Spider Woman disambiguation page, with no indication that the novel's renown is at such a point that it overwhelms the combined prominence of the remaining four entries. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:36, 8 December 2023 (UTC)
- Something's a bit strange about the October 2023 WikiNav data because it records 80 incoming pageviews but 98 outgoing ones: 51 to the film, 36 to the musical, and 15 to the novel. The "Comparisons Over Time" section shows that for September 2023, the outgoing views for the film and the musical were about 30% each, the novel 20%, and presumably some other source not shown picking up the last 20%. However, 45 out of 80 incoming pageviews do come from the novel page, so those people are likely not going to click back to the novel page...in any case, not a slam dunk that the novel is primary. - Oppose. The film's pretty notable too. -- Necrothesp (talk) 14:05, 12 December 2023 (UTC)
