Fair use rationale for Image:Tkuc.jpg

[edit]

Image:Tkuc.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Requested move 16 June 2016

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: This one's just a bit convoluted – not sure why the mover of the page didn't just close this as Moved; however, from this point in time there is no point in going further. It does appear that the qualifier in parentheses could be necessary, and I don't see a consensus for dropping it at this point in time. So this page has been moved from:

  • King's University College (Edmonton) → The King's University (Edmonton)

and that is where it will stay for now. (closed by a page mover)  Wikipedian Sign Language Paine  02:12, 5 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

King's University College (Edmonton)The King's University – This is the accurate name of the university – EditWikiz (talk) 22:35, 16 June 2016 (UTC) --Relisting. Omni Flames (talk) 00:39, 25 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is a contested technical request (permalink). EditWikiz (talk) 22:42, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

As you can see from this link, the name of King's University College (Edmonton) has been officially changed to The King’s University. — Preceding unsigned comment added by EditWikiz (talkcontribs) 22:42, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

User:Ebonelm performed a move as this RM was ongoing. The title isn't exactly right, because the apostrophe is stylized. — Andy W. (talk ·ctb) 00:49, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
@Andy M. Wang: thanks for pointing out the strange way the apostophe came out, have fixed. Ebonelm (talk) 13:58, 17 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Support I don't think it would be wrong to have this as just The King's University with a see also to the Texas version. This one seems to be a proper accredited university; the Texas one isn't really a university (too few degrees in too few areas) and isn't regionally accredited.
