Career

[edit]

Currently, the sentences "Back in his younger years, he was a chess club member and acted in school plays such as "Bye, Bye Birdie" at Estill County High School in Kentucky. He was also a football quarterback." lead off the section. Is this really pertinent to his career? --76.103.246.203 (talk) 07:13, 4 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Poor Wording

[edit]

Just curious as to why the wording of this article is very jumbled, and if the usage of a reference for his date of birth is truly necessary. Maybe this article should be fixed? WiiAlbanyGirl (talk) 02:15, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Picture

[edit]

Why is there a can of powered chocolate where his picture is suppose to be? Chan 05:48, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Why is Kevin Richardson cited under 1970 births while he was actually born a year later? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jennax3yorkk (talkcontribs) 20:06, 26 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Birthplace

[edit]

The article currently quotes both Lexington, Kentucky and Irvine, Kentucky as his birthplace. Which is correct ?

Derek R Bullamore (talk) 14:58, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He may have very well been born in Lexington due to the hospital facilities available during the time period he was born. Many people from this area of the state are born in Richmond or Lexington due to the fact that many Central Kentucky towns do not have the facilities needed. However, he was raised in Irvine or Estill County. He graduated high school there.BigBlackCox (talk) 21:13, 30 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nascimento

[edit]

Kevin Scott Richardson nasceu em 03/10/1972 e não em 1971, como diz em alguns lugares. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 201.35.137.27 (talk) 05:05, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Solo career section needs updating?

[edit]

There's nothing to update, he hasn't finished the album and he hasn't said another word about it since then. I'm guessing it's shelved.--Krystaleen 16:20, 24 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Missing info

[edit]

I'm still stuck on the new changes, but did you have removed some of the other info on the page?

  • He is also Irish-Italian, Scottish, some German and Indian descent, but Along with the other Backstreet Boys, Richardson took a DNA test and revealed that he is really 19.7% Scottish, Welsh and 36.2% North and West European.[1]
  • Richardson was once engaged to an older lady, Beth when he was 19, but they decided that they were too young to get married and weren't ready, plus Beth fell in love with someone else and broke his heart.[2]
  • the friend that he met at a dance club is also his then girlfriend's roommate's friend

These were found in old articles, so they have to be of use.108.46.251.85 (talk) 10:47, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

An old version of the article carried the sentence, "He is of Irish-Italian, English, Scottish, some German and Indian descent." This sentence was not at all supported by a reference, so I don't see any reason to keep parts of it.
Just because an old version of the article said something doesn't mean it has "to be of use" to us now. Binksternet (talk) 14:20, 3 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, well, what about these?

Edit includes Angelfire site

[edit]

Another editor included information that I've only been able to find on an Angelfire site. Obviously it's not in itself a reputable source, but it looks like a copy-paste from a real news article. I'm trying to track it down. Snowman304|talk 05:05, 12 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
