This page should not be speedily deleted because... this group is seminal in the Mexican punk and rock scene. At least four of *my* recent translations refer to them. I saw some redlinks to this article just now, one of which was a matter of é vs. e, which I was able to resolve; there are undoubtedly other redlinks that I need to chase down, but the band is unquestionably notable, on a par with the Pet Shop Boys or the Buzzcocks. Possibly the current article does not make this clear, but please note that this is a *translation*; the intent would be to use it as a point of departure. There are plenty of sources to update it, but my Spanish synapses are currently burned out. There are about twenty bands, of which they are one of the more frequently discussed, who began recording rock/punk music in Spanish rather than English at that time. This was a very very big deal (see Rock en tu idioma, La Onda and Mexican rock) Thus there are sociological reasons for notability, in addition to the music per se. Also, Kenny's influence extends over a *35-year* period, and many of her collaborators are famous or have won awards. This AfD is jaw-dropping in its ethnocentrism and will be fiercely contested. Just because a random editor has not heard of a Mexican band does not mean they are not notable, geez. Elinruby (talk) 06:15, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I need to take a break from spanish and from this article. But here are some more references, in case the notabilty question arises again while I am doing something else. If anyone would like to edit this, please feel free to help.
