Map
[edit]The map diagram should be clearly shown, not reduced to an illegible thumbnail hidden behind a collapse box. Jpatokal (talk) 07:02, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- Any reason why? In general, by keeping infobox maps as unobtrusive thumbnails they are still accessible to those wishing to view it while keeping disruption by the infobox to the article's layout to a minimum. The same is true for route diagrams. --armagebedar (talk) 07:30, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- A picture is worth a thousand words, and certainly a hell of a lot more informative then the incomprehensible angry fruit salad "Basic data" operator table that currently occupies pride of place. Jpatokal (talk) 08:30, 23 February 2010 (UTC)
- There's no need to get angry over it. It may not be useful to you, but that section contains important information regarding the line's length, gauge, electrification, etc. serving as an overview of the line that others (including myself) find useful; moreover, it is certainly encyclopedic. If you have a problem with this, I suggest you take it up at WikiProject Trains in Japan and see what the community thinks. --armagebedar (talk) 23:58, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

- I'm neither angry nor suggesting that the "Basic data" table be removed, but I'm putting the map back. If somebody decides to whip up one of those geeky route diagrams, then it can be hidden away in the thumbnail. Jpatokal (talk) 03:52, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- And oh, see also ja:京成成田空港線 and note their map positioning. Jpatokal (talk) 03:57, 24 February 2010 (UTC)
- Fair enough. --armagebedar (talk) 04:55, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Requested move

The result of the proposal was not moved (see DAJF comment below). --RegentsPark (talk) 21:40, 26 August 2010 (UTC)
Keisei Narita Airport Line → Narita Sky Access — "Narita Sky Access" is the name universally used in all official publicity. Note that "Narita Sky Access" is the name used for the entire route from Ueno to Narita Airport, and "Narita Sky Access Line" is the name used for the section from Keisei-Takasago to Narita Airport, so I suggest that this article use the overall "Narita Sky Access" name. Relisted. Arbitrarily0 (talk) 17:08, 31 July 2010 (UTC) --DAJF (talk) 01:06, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- Question. http://www.keisei.co.jp/keisei/kouhou/news/21-091.pdf states that "Narita Sky Access" would be the name for the Narita Kūkō Sen between Keisei Takasago and Narita Airport (51.4 km). Was there any change in the usage of the name? --Sushiya (talk) 10:12, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
- Interesting... I was going by the article in the latest issue (August 2010) of Tetsudo Daiya Joho Magazine, in which "Narita Sky Access" is shown as the entire route from Ueno to Narita Airport, and "Narita Sky Access Line" for the section from Keisei-Takasago to Narita Airport, but if the official Keisei usage is as you describe, fair enough. --DAJF (talk) 10:31, 18 July 2010 (UTC)
- So... how does that affect this move request? -GTBacchus(talk) 23:19, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
