Popular places
[edit]I think Oaro should be listed as a popular places in the references. DOPmanNZ (talk) 05:48, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- Can you please clarify your suggestion ? The settlement of Oaro is already listed in the article as one of the populated places in the district. What else do you have in mind ?. If you are proposing some new content about Oaro, then that is best placed in the article about the settlement, not in this article about the district.Marshelec (talk) 08:05, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- Perhaps you meant that Oaro should be added into the Kaikoura District template that appears at the bottom of the article ? I have gone ahead and done that, adding Omihi as well. Marshelec (talk) 08:30, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- Yes that is what I had in mind.
- However I didn't have in mind adding Omiha, that article says that Omiha is in the Hurunui District not the Kaikōura Distict. DOPmanNZ (talk) 08:59, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
- Many thanks. Quite correct. I was misled by the existing incorrect inclusion of Omihi in the table in the body of this article. I have now removed Omihi from both the body of this article, and from the Template:Kaikōura District. Thanks for picking up this mistake. Marshelec (talk) 20:38, 15 July 2023 (UTC)
