Merger proposal 18 April 2020

[edit]

This article seems to be a repeat of the article Ka'ak and ought to be merged with the other article. Opinions are here welcomed.Davidbena (talk) 19:22, 18 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Melsj:. Of course the spelling is different: one is Persian; the other is Arabic! It's like describing H2O (water) in German, which is spelt wasser, and describing it in English, which is spelt water. Although there are two different spellings, both refer to the same thing!Davidbena (talk) 18:21, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't talking about the spelling. The images are different. --Melsj (talk) 06:41, 30 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
In that case, you are right. The manner of preparation seems to be different in Persia.Davidbena (talk) 20:42, 1 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ka'ak is from Syria, Palestine, Egypt. Kaak (pastry) is from Kurdish parts of Iran. Kaak (bread) is from Pakistan. Text on this talk was copied from Talk:Kaak (bread). – wbm1058 (talk) 14:35, 24 March 2025 (UTC)[reply]
