... that KFC rice is rice that is cooked with fried chicken in a rice cooker? Source: Pretty much all of them, but I'll just cite the Japanese Gadget News article that made it popular.
- ALT1: ... that KFC rice is named after the KFC Original Recipe fried chicken typically used in its preparation? Source: I guess KFC's official website should be enough.

Article is pretty interesting and meets DYK requirements. All of the hooks are cited inline and verified and a QPQ has been provided. I'm okay with any of the hooks except for ALT1 (which seems too on-the-nose), but I think ALT0, if it is to be reused, needs to have all the links other than to KFC rice be removed since they're rather universal things and may just divert views away from the KFC rice article. Maybe I should try cooking this sometime too, this article made me hungry. Narutolovehinata5 (talk · contributions) 04:18, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
