DoNotPay

[edit]

Anti-Semitism - The article states: He ultimately hopes to replace "25,000 exploitative lawyers"... This sounds antisemitic. Is there any way to reword this? 192.40.24.4 (talk) 16:15, 16 June 2016 (UTC)Shandafurdie[reply]

Eh, what? It's anti-lawyer, perhaps, but I don't see anything antisemitic about that quote. (In any case, it's a direct quote, so we can't reword it.) Robofish (talk) 16:36, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Pointless article

[edit]

Why does this person warrant an entire article? Can someone nominate for deletion? I'm sure his website is great, but it's not notifiable enough. Is it because his parents have their own articles and appear to be more notable? Or the blanket coverage in left-wing outlets like HuffPo? 31.49.87.251 (talk) 12:13, 11 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The sources arguably provide sufficient evidence of notability. However, if anyone wants to nominate this article for deletion, the place to do so is WP:AFD. Robofish (talk) 16:37, 1 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Unfair

[edit]

Revised as follows:

Having formed the perception that these tickets were disproportionately targetting the elderly and disabled, and noticing the "formulaic nature" of the process by which they could be appealed, Browder created DoNotPay.

This has the advantage over the original of being supported by the cite at the end of the next sentence. If the original version is restored, please add "citation needed". — MaxEnt 22:22, 12 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Name Joshua vs David.

[edit]

Bill Browder’s 2014 book, Red Notice, refers to his son as David.

If David is Browder’s son, who is Joshua?

Browder Hass daughter Jessica, but she is born in 2005. Bobber100 (talk) 22:32, 29 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 7 April 2021

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

– The article primarily covers the accomplishments and development of DoNotPay. The subject isn't notable as a standalone article for inclusion in Wikipedia. Ew3234 (talk) 22:33, 7 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Note: As noted below, DoNotPay titles a page with significant content and so it is ineligible to be a new target page in a move request unless it is also proposed to be renamed. This request has been altered to reflect that fact. If a merger of the two articles is sought, then please withdraw this request and follow the instructions at WP:MERGE. Hi BarrelProof! Yes, I thought merging was what I was looking for. But upon further research, I learned that my aim is to replace this article with a redirect to DoNotPay. How do I do that? Ew3234 (talk) 00:29, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If I may interject, Ew3234, you appear to want to delete the content of this article and redirect this title to the DoNotPay article. You can follow the guidance at WP:XFD, and if this is what you want, we can close this move request while you take the steps necessary to delete this article. Thank you for your input! P.I. Ellsworth  ed. put'r there 00:47, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, that's what I'm looking to do. I appreciate your guiance on this. I will submit a XFD request so you may close this move request. Thank you. Ew3234 (talk) 02:03, 8 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
