Merge proposal
[edit]Puretone is one of a number of aliases used by Josh G. Abrahams, the content of the former article should be transcluded into this article as being the more widely applied name for the artist.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 23:53, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
I agree. 12wxl54 (talk) 01:48, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
- Me too - but why, after this length of time, has it not happened ?
- That would be because the proposer of the merger (i.e. Shaidar cuebiyar) has not got around to it! Sorry I got distracted and let it lapse. Before the merger, more content from Puretone should be moved into this article. If no-one else does so I'll try to remember to do the work in the next week or so.Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 09:36, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
- I've moved most of Puretone article into Josh G. Abrahams and started integrating the content but there is still more required. I'll leave that task to other editor(s).Shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 11:46, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
Requested move

No consensus to move. Vegaswikian (talk) 23:47, 25 February 2012 (UTC)
This is his most commonly used name - Puretone. I moved the page to its current title in 2010 but I now realise that I shouldn't have. - Unreal7 (talk) 18:31, 18 February 2012 (UTC)
- Disagree – As indicated above, Puretone is one of his stage names. He also performed as The Pagan and Bassliners. When working in other projects, e.g. s:amplify, he is usually given as Josh Abrahams. The current article title sufficient.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 05:05, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Josh G. Abrahams → Josh Abrahams – He is more commonly known as Josh Abrahams without the middle initial. eg see the covers of his single "Addicted To Bass" and his album The Satyricon duffbeerforme (talk) 03:35, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support as per noms justification. Dan arndt (talk) 09:31, 19 January 2017 (UTC)
- Support. I should have thought of this move, five years ago, when talking Puretone. The hat note re: similar person should be sufficient. I don't think the article even mentions his middle initial or name.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 05:54, 20 January 2017 (UTC)
