The majority of on-line sources I can find give the 1745 date for the end of his term. See Alcedo y Herrera, Dionisio de (1690-1777), Piraterías y agresiones de los ingleses y de otros pueblos de Europa en la América española desde el siglo XVI al XVIII deducidas de las obras de D. Dionisio del Alsedo y Herrera, publícalas D. Justo Zaragoza, and Historia postal de Chile. World Statemen, however, gives a third date, July 12, 1745. I realize that many of the term dates for Peruvian viceroys are in dispute. Perhaps you are right, but you need to provide some sources so we can compare. Or both dates may have some validity. It's possible, for instance, that his term ended in December 1745 and the September 1746 date is when he sailed from the colony. Or no date may be well established, and we should take all of them out and put in "1745 or 1746". Let me know what you think, and where you got the information.
