The result of the move request was: Move to Jorge Flores (soccer). In addition to moving the article to "soccer" over "football player", we have consensus to shift to Jorge Flores (soccer) and distinguish from Jorge Villafaña with a hat note. Cúchullain t/c 19:53, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
Jorge Flores (footballer born 1977) → Jorge Flores (soccer, born 1977) – He is American --Relisted. George Ho (talk) 10:08, 12 June 2015 (UTC) Joeykai (talk) 21:30, 5 June 2015 (UTC)
- Comment. How about moving to Jorge Flores (soccer)? Since Jorge Villafaña is not generally known by that name, shouldn't a hatnote be sufficient to disambiguate between the two players? PC78 (talk) 09:16, 6 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support per nom with the "born" portion, due to multiple people, so ambiguous disambiguation should not be used. -- 70.51.202.183 (talk) 07:25, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- Move to Jorge Flores (soccer) per PC78. – Michael (talk) 18:00, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- Jorge Flores (soccer) could easily be confused with Jorge Villafaña.Joeykai (talk) 19:25, 7 June 2015 (UTC)
- What makes you think that? – Michael (talk) 21:01, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- He is a soccer player who was know as Jorge Flores for several years.Joeykai (talk) 21:08, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- Yeah until he legally changed his name about three, maybe four years ago. So I don't see how that would cause any confusion here. – Michael (talk) 05:10, 8 June 2015 (UTC)
- He used that name, so it is by definition ambiguous, since written information does not change whenever someone changes their name, it stays as written. So would need additional disambiguation. -- 70.51.202.183 (talk) 04:32, 13 June 2015 (UTC)

- Move to Jorge Flores (soccer) wit hatnotes between the two. GiantSnowman 17:50, 10 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support move to Jorge Flores (soccer player). "Soccer" alone is really not a good disambiguator. Rreagan007 (talk) 01:47, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- "Soccer" alone is the correct disambiguator. See WP:NCSP. – Michael (talk) 02:52, 13 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support move to Jorge Flores (soccer player) or Jorge Flores (soccer player, born 1977). The other Soccer player (Jorge Villafaña) dropped the name "Flores" in 2011. Perhaps any difference between articles can be sorted out with a hatnote. GregKaye 06:29, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- Support Jorge Flores (soccer) per WP:NCSP. --BDD (talk) 16:18, 12 June 2015 (UTC)
- Move to simply Jorge Flores (soccer). Normally I would advocate for keeping the birth year, but in this case where the subject is the only football/soccer player commonly known as "Jorge Flores" hatnotes should suffice. Jenks24 (talk) 15:28, 22 June 2015 (UTC)
