@Dovidroth: Why have you removed mention of the Golan Heights occupation and kept it for the West Bank? And why have you removed mention of the occupier, Israel? I suspect because that bit of the infobox was using the physical geographical names, Mount Herman and the Golan Heights without mentioning the political states. I note that we might want to double check the source(s) of the Jordan and particular document why we have the coordinate we do, which is not very near Mount Herman. Britannica gives three principal sources: Ḥāṣbānī, Bāniyās, and Dan; the coordinate we have might be the meeting place. I note that Water politics in the Jordan River basin seems a bit clearer on the hydrology. Erp (talk) 15:00, 27 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've adjusted the coordinate to be where the Dan and Hasbani rivers meet and become the Jordan. Also rewrote a bit about the sources. I added infoboxes to the articles on those two rivers. This is still a work in progress. Erp (talk) 03:55, 28 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Change the transliteration Nahar ha-Yarden to Nehar ha-Yarden in the Native name section. The vowels in the Hebrew word for river change from נָהָר (nahar) to נְהַר (nehar) in the construct state, so Nehar ha-Yarden is the correct transliteration while Nahar ha-Yarden is incorrect. The map used in this article fails to denote the Golan Heights, which the State of Israel de facto annexed in 1981 and occupies since 1967. Whether you agree with that or not, Wikipedia should reflect reality, no? You can draw it up as a dotted line to denote "disputed" territory (see Russian version of the article) if you want or as part of sovereign Israel (see Hebrew version), but it SHOULD be included, as it is on Google Maps and every respectable cartographic source. The fact that the information in your articles varies widely depending on the language is highly unorthodox for a project that considers itself an "encyclopædia". 147.235.207.94 (talk) 08:32, 1 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! The 'Country' field in the strip on the right says:

The 'Israeli-occupied' portion has a link to nowhere. The link in 'Palestinian territory' should be extended to the entire portion 'Israeli-occupied Palestinian territory' instead.
