- My interest in the Johnstown Flood was piqued by a show on The History Channel, and by the fact that I was born near there. I was supposed to be born in the hospital in Indiana PA, but a blizzard made the roads impassable. I was born at home in Luciusboro on November 29, 1950. 2603:6011:70D:7300:E40B:3219:E2D9:FA84 (talk) 20:42, 1 December 2024 (UTC)

Second or Third?
[edit]The first sentence includes "also known as the second great flood of Johnstown" but there's nothing in the article to assert that this event is indeed known as that. And given that this was actually the third major flood after 1889 and 1936, saying this is the "second great flood" seems odd. Echoedmyron (talk) 23:33, 8 December 2017 (UTC)
