It's amazing how much information there is here on one school. We must have awesome school spirit or something. =P

Vagina Monologues

[edit]

The description of the controversy is also extremely inaccurate... no children were at the event, the suspensions were changed and did not remain on the students records etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.68.142.160 (talk) 21:42, 17 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Community members agree, the vagina monologues controversy was extremely overblown, and that John Jay should not merely be known for it. I propose moving it to the end of the article, and perhaps shortening it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.104.133.40 (talk) 03:11, 21 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Frederick Exley?

[edit]

Did Exley in fact attend John Jay or did he attend Katonah High School, which was the district's high school before John Jay was built? We also need information about when the school was constructed. 850 C (talk) 02:09, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

See Talk page on Exley for discussion. John Jay High School was opened in 1956, though the Katonah High School yearbook was called "the John Jay," which may be the source of the confusion.850 C (talk) 11:51, 1 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
