Lost Top of the Pops video of The Jean Genie

[edit]

The story of the lost recording which was wiped by the BBC but had been kept by Henshall, on the BBC News at Ten, with short contributions by Henshall and DJ Mark Radcliffe, can be found on YouTube at "David Bowie's lost 1973 performance of The Jean Genie - BBC News explains the discovery". But I can't link that clip here, or in the article, as that would encourage others to watch something that may be in breach of BBC copyright, allegedly. The report claims that Henshall has another 100 clips from the same era. Martinevans123 (talk) 22:19, 5 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

VERY poor sourcing

[edit]

He looks to be notable but the sources are appalling with only one being independent, I have removed many Youtube links and Wikipedia references as these are not suitable, it's not clear how this ever got accepted! Theroadislong (talk) 10:28, 2 October 2018 (UTC)[reply]
