Nice to see

[edit]

I am/was not Dewey Students, yet I have a lot of friends who are. I went there to take SAT tests. The last one was on November 4, 1995. And it was also a saturday, as today! ....That time I lived in Bensonhurst, and wanted to transfer there. However, when I decided in Summer 1995 I was already 12th-grader. So even though the article writes the school was originally for Sophomores and Freshmen..... it was too late! GK tramrunner 15:37, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

going to college

[edit]

Was it possible to go directly to college after 10th grade. Lucky guys, I had to waste two years in 11th and 12th so far. In 1990ies. GK tramrunner 15:37, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I know, it was possible to go after 11th grade. But it may have been different in the 90's (I enrolled in the 00's). Blackmorningsun

I graduated in 1974 after 11th grade and went to college. Great school. Now I sort of wished I spent more time there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 4.53.147.150 (talk) 19:34, 16 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Whoever edited this page did a top-notch job. Much kudos to them. Blackmorningsun

Notable Alumni

[edit]

The last two names on the notable alumni list need to be removed (I am referring to Min Ying Li & Julian Melendez). What exactly did they do to earn their "notable" status? This sounds like a shout out to me and it has no place on the Dewey page. --ZeroSumGame 16:26, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
