Cyclotron

[edit]

A cyclotron measured by its weight? Has anybody information on the diameter, voltage and usage of the cyclotron at the University of Michigan? On the net I could only find some report on the upgrade of the cyclotron way after the WWII. --DrJunge (talk) 17:22, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Omissions

[edit]

Dr. Kraus' development of sound-control mechanisms, his invention of the cyclical antenna, and especially his development of the radio observatory at Delaware, OH, need to be mentioned here. He and his wife were also instrumental in getting a part of the upper Olentangy River protected from development under one of the early invocations of the Wild Rivers Act. I helped to edit "Big Ear": citations from that book would give a better summary of his achievements than this article does at present (I don't know how to enter them with proper footnoting or I would). 108.20.70.31 (talk) 01:22, 15 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
