BLI ≠ contras

BLI stands for "Batallón de Lucha Irregular", that is, the Nicaraguan Army's Irregular Warfare Battallions. So, they are not "contras" (contrarrevolutionaries).

On the other hand, contras never marched over any Nicaraguan city.

I worked on your Jinotega page some

I had to reword some things, as I didn't alway understand. I will try to help you out more. Please forgive me for any mistakes. Your area sounds really beautiful and friendly. If possible, if the photograph is not copyrighted, you could get someone to up load it to Wikipedia so it could go right on the page with the article about Jinotega.

The Municipality of Jinotega is one of the 8 Municipalities of the Jinotega Department located in the central region, in the north of Nicaragua, on the border with Honduras. The Municipality has a surface of 880.34 km ² with a population of 136 342 inhabitants in the year 2017 and one of the most populated of the country placing it in the fourth place after Chinandega, Matagalpa and Managua. Founded on October 15, 1891. Its municipal head is the city of Jinotega known as "Las Brumas" located in a valley at an altitude of 1,003.87 masl with cool weather at an average temperature of 25 ° C at a distance of 142 km from Managua (2h 44 min, by Carr Panamericana / Panamericana Nte./CA-1) and with an urban population of 53 265 inhabitants in the year 2017.
