Personal life

[edit]

I just wonder whether Jeff Beck's long relationship with the former model and animal-rights campaigner Celia Hammond should be mentioned? I imagine she must have been a significant influence in his life. So sad that another great musician is gone. AgTigress (talk) 21:21, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I've added what was in her article, with the minor necessary modifications. I think we should try to confirm (using sources) that he met his wife Sandra in 1992, otherwise we may risk giving the impression that the relationship with Hammond lasted longer than it did. 2A02:8071:184:4E80:F471:ECF4:BBAF:ABB3 (talk) 02:05, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sources I can find seem to state Beck and Cash met in 2004, which is close enough to their wedding that it might not need pointing out separately. Maybe it doesn't matter that we can't put exact dates from reputable sources on his link with Hammond. 2A02:8071:184:4E80:F471:ECF4:BBAF:ABB3 (talk) 02:12, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Resting place

[edit]

The Daily Mirror reports here: "Hollywood actor Johnny Depp is reported to be the only person permitted to Jeff Beck's private burial, alongside his widow Sandra and the couple's dog. ... The private burial reportedly took place at the musician's home in Wadhurst, East Sussex on 4 February. The quiet burial followed the funeral the day before, which was reportedly attended by fellow musicians including Tom Jones, Eric Clapton, Sir Rod Stewart and Ronnie Wood." So not buried at St Mary's Church in Beddington, as reported by the Daily Mail? Martinevans123 (talk) 22:16, 27 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
