ARMY - NAVY rivals
[edit]Interestingly the ANC website shows a gravestone with US Navy inscribed. The FAG page has a similar photo. But the ArlingtonCemetery dot net page http://arlingtoncemetery.net/beaufort.htm has an older photo — that does NOT show US Navy. I suspect ANC replace the headstone and got the wrong branch of service. WP Editing concerns: 1. page bears watching to see if ANC "fixes" the stone; 2. shows these ELs have value for readers who might catch these problems and take the trouble to ask ANC about them. – S.
