Pardon

The article says that Haley received a pardon from Governor Millard F. Caldwell. But Caldwell was the governor of Florida. He couldn't pardon someone for a crime where the person had been convicted in Connecticut. I can't find clear evidence of Haley's pardon, but it would make more sense if Haley was pardoned by Raymond E.
