I am going to delete a majority of the "2008 Delegate" portion of the article, because it is plagiarized in its entirety from a Washington Post article, and because it is not appropriate for an encyclopedic entry beyond the fact that he is a delegate.76.114.164.91 (talk) 00:09, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

this article has clearly been edited by someone with a Republican bias

[edit]

When it begins to talk about the criminal investigation it refers to him as "Democrat Johnson". Mentions of his party occur only 2 other times in the article, counting the info box. There is no legitimate reason to go out of the way to remind the reader of his political party when it comes to talking about his wrongdoings. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.94.91.172 (talk) 08:16, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I won't speculate regarding the other editor's intentions, but I have reverted the edit in question. Johnson's party affiliation is already mentioned, and its use in the particular context is WP:NPOV (and I say this as someone with no love for Johnson nor the Democratic Party). -- Gyrofrog (talk) 15:44, 17 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Current Status?

[edit]

The article currently reads:

Johnson is currently serving his sentence at the Cumberland Federal Correctional Institution, with prisoner number 52777-037, and a projected release date of June 10, 2017. As of December 15, 2016, Johnson has been released to a federal halfway house near Baltimore to serve the remainder of his sentence.

These two sentences are contradictory:

  • Johnson is "currently serving his sentence at the Cumberland",
  • "As of December 15, 2016, Johnson has been released to a federal halfway"

If the second sentence is true, the first sentence should be re-written.
