Synonym not species

According to The Plant List http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl1.1/record/kew-321682 this is a synonym of Iris germanica. Could it not be copied into that page and then this article deleted.16:48, 20 October 2014 (UTC)

It is noted within the article (Taxonomy section) that it is a synonym but other synonym articles do it exist DavidAnstiss (talk) 22:22, 13 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
