The description of Survival mode is a bit incorrect. While enemies do come in waves, both the timing of waves as well as respawning of other players happen when a cache is captures (which requires majority of players to be in it's vicinity). Also, it is the capture that gives players supply points - 1 point if teammates do it, 2 (or 3) if you're there too. No points if the player is dead. I'm not editing article myself because I don't really have any source, it's just from playing the game.
