I completely disagree with the following statement: "Thousands of other students who do not get the opportunity to study in Pulchowk Campus study in other Private Engineering colleges affiliated with IOE."

I believe few private engineering colleges are much better than Pulchowk Campus. But, in order to study in such private colleges, one must appear in the entrance exam in Pulchowk Campus.

Althoug the students join the private college, they have to give their semester exam @ the Pulchowk college which is not good. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 220.67.222.47 (talk) 02:44, 3 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If Pulchowk Campus was to be singled out from rest of the colleges Private college's reputation will degrade further.Giving their semester exams in pulchowk campus at a level par has in fact increased the credibility of students from private colleges.

IOE is NOT pulchowk campus. This article is more about pulchowk campus than about IOE. also, the last paragraph about mismanagement of fund and students from pulchowk campus guaranteed to pass is absolutely correct. DO NOT REMOVE THAT PARAGRAPH. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.70.64.58 (talk) 15:50, 27 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The person who wrote this article hardly has any idea about the difference between IOE and pulchowk campus. IOE is a autonomous body of Tribhuvan University who oversees all the constituent engineering campuses that offer Engineering studies of Tribhuvan University. Hence, wrting entrance for IOE doesn't mean one is trying to get into Pulchowk Campus. There are other colleges like Pulchowk, like in Pokhara, Dharan and etc.... Another thing, one also must take this thing into consideration that, Pulchowk has proved that it is best because the best minds study at that colleges, but the private colleges which offer same education as Pulchowk campus have also given better products in the recent years. The only advantage with studying in PC is that your lecturers will set the examination and the whole question paper is based on the course completed in the central campus, rather than the prescribed whole course.. And FYI, I'm not an engineering student, neither an engineering aspirant. Just wanted to award. And if there's someone who can edit the article, please edit it so that it encompasses all the IOE affiliate campuses and constituent colleges too... And to sing the saga of the Pulchowk Campus, start a new topic under the same name... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aceice (talkcontribs) 09:44, 7 November 2009 (UTC) I completely disagree with the preceeding para....It is well known fact that the same lectures/pro...who teach at Pulchowk Campus....are more obliged towards the private campuses...due to their lucrative offers...In recent times....they spent more time in private rather than in Pulchowk Campus.....and the other thing is that...only the creamy students get gate pass to Pulchowk Campus...They r naturally talent...further they...labour hard independently...This is the main factor behind the reputation of P..Campus...rather than its infrastructure..lectures and above mentioned false accusations....(Gajen) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.199.184.194 (talk) 15:34, 29 July 2010 (UTC) There is no lecturer in Pulchowk Campus that has any special say in the exams which is conducted by a separate body which is located outside Pulchowk campus. And regarding the above mentioned comments about IOE being different from Pulchowk campus, I couldn't agree more but the fact that PC was in fact established as IOE makes the distinction between the two not clear to this day. For example, the dean of IOE has his office within PC and he teaches students at PC despite being the head of the entire IOE. And if someone says some private colleges offer better education and infrastructures, I can't fathom what college he/she is talking about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 113.199.151.253 (talk) 15:42, 24 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
