The result of the move request was: consensus to move the disambiguation page to Insignia (disambiguation) and the draft to Insignia at this time, per the discussion below. Dekimasuよ! 21:45, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

InsigniaInsignia (disambiguation) – Here is the right place for an article about Insignia like in the other languages. I started alrady with a stub, but before had to move this page to the Insignia (disambiguation). The wikidata-objects of Insignia (Q552345) and Insignia (disambiguation) (Q1180346) are already switched. Thx! W like wiki (talk) 21:14, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Insignia deleted the original Insignia article that was just like your stub. I don't see anything that would show this stub is primary topic or any better than what was there when the AFD closed as a delete. -- ferret (talk) 22:16, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
If we dont have an article about Insignia, there should be a red link under Insignia to motivate other to create one and not a link to a disambiguation or a redirect to a disambiguation. In my view this "special solution" here is the reason, why there is not yet an article about Insignia in the English wikipedia but already in 27 other wikipedias. My stub was a try to change this and invite others to join. Or keep everything like it is and you can keep waiting further. Sorry, Cheers! --W like wiki (talk) 23:31, 5 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
There isn't an article on insignia on English Wikipedia because it was voted to be deleted under policy guidelines. This has to be addressed before trying to recreate it or move the disambiguation page. -- ferret (talk) 00:45, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The draft version is completely different from the deleted version, so this should be all right. The deleted version was nominated for deletion by Sandstein, who supports the new version below. Dekimasuよ! 21:43, 12 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. The first step is to create a viable article about insignia, until then there is no basis for any page moves. Looking at some of those other language Wiki pages, many of them are very short with few or no references, I didn't translate any of the text but it seems fairly evident that they are little more than dictionary definitions. I've added some. same anon, new IP 188.143.76.152 (talk) 09:52, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Your nomination implies your support for it unless you say otherwise. This is a duplicate !vote. 94.21.238.64 (talk) 20:44, 6 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The problems identified were that it was a WP:DICDEF, a duplicate (of Wiktionary, I presume) and that an "article could be developed on the topic (history, current, etc.)". The draft is not a duplicate or DICDEF and is mostly about history. I've added some sources. Same anon, new IP 188.143.76.152 (talk) 09:38, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
OK, that's better. Can be restored to mainspace now. Sandstein 12:22, 11 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]
