Circle City
[edit]Why is one of Indianapolis nicknames "Circle City"?
Theresa
Introductory Paragraph
[edit]"...IPS operates one of the best magnet/option programs in the United States" Would like to see a citation for this. Also, some additional info, e.g. what criteria determines that it is "the best"? I would prefer to delete rather than have a subjective statement such as this. Any other thoughts? IPS is now down to fewer than 37,000 students.Steve Vinson 03:00, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
Move
[edit]Why was this moved to include Marion County, Indiana in the title? Where else would there be an "Indianapolis Public Schools? L. Pistachio (talk) 21:25, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
- I moved it back. Maybe the original mover would like to discuss the move. -- JTHolla! 21:35, 31 December 2007 (UTC)
Indianapolis public schools Problem
[edit]Hello I am an IPS Student and I have a question for the reads.
According to the news that IPS is one of the worst schools in the state of Indiana. How is it that the board of education has not stepped in.
New Infobox
[edit]I have been busy creating infoboxes for many of the largest school corporations in the state. Tonight I have done infoboxes for the Fort Wayne Community Schools, Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation and finally after some work and opening of numerous tabs to get all of the neccessary data together, the Indianapolis Public Schools. School List Needed
[edit]This Page needs the list of Schools in the IPS System to be consistent with the pages of the other school systems. In the above mentioned infobox I have listed the operating High Schools of the IPS and their mascots. Their Colors and approximate sizes cam be found on the Indianapolis Public School Conference or Pioneer Conference pages. Rhatsa26X (talk) 05:40, 20 February 2010 (UTC)
