Naming Convention
[edit]Rather than splitting, perhaps simply change the article title to Indian Motorcycle International. I fully understand the historical significance of the original name, but feel it is akin to naming the article about The Beatles, The Quarrymen.

Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Company → Indian Motorcycle – This is the title shown on the company internet site. Jax 0677 (talk) 03:00, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- Support. This article covers the entire history of the Indian Motorcycle marque, not just that of the Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Company (which ceased operations in 1953.) 162 etc. (talk) 16:15, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- Support per above comments.—Alalch E. 16:40, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- Note - Indian Motortcycle Manufacturing Company was moved to Indian Motocycle Manufacturing Company after this move discussion was started. --Jax 0677 (talk) 20:38, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
- Support The current name of the company makes the most sense. If the former name of the company makes sense to move to a fork, then make the case and reference it in the article. A redirect from Motocycle also would be appropriate. Buffs (talk) 04:21, 15 April 2024 (UTC)
