  • ... that after regular service to Leavenworth station ceased, there were annual trains for ski jumping spectators? Source: The Seattle Times (Feb. 12, 1960)

  • article looks good: it is long enough, expanded by 5x, and is within policy. I recommend revising the hook though to something that removes the passive voice, such as:
Alt1: ... that after regular service to Leavenworth station ceased, annual trains continued to run to serve ski jumping spectators?
SounderBruce, let me know when you have completed QPQ, which is still outstanding. Cheers, « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 16:11, 13 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Gonzo fan2007: QPQ added and I do like the ALT1 you suggested. SounderBruce 05:47, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Alt1 is good to go, as QPQ is now complete. « Gonzo fan2007 (talk) @ 15:11, 14 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The lead's a touch on the short side. Is there anyway this can be expanded a few sentences? There's some background information in the history section that isn't summarized in the lead, although probably not a whole lot of that belongs in there.

Added a second paragraph to the lead.

Infobox - We need a citation for the station code.

Added.

History - "shortly after the Great Northern Railway arrived in the area to begin construction of their route" - Is the Great Northern Railway "their" (plural) or "its" (singular)?

Fixed.

"The excursion trains were canceled ... and was replaced by a free shuttle bus" - I'm thinking the was should also be a were, since both are referring to the excursion trains.

Fixed.

Watch overlinking - Empire Builder and BNSF Railway are both linked in the main text body multiple times, which is generally not recommended unless there's a compelling reason to do so. (Also Seattle, maybe more).

Fixed, though I retained a repeat for EB because it is the main subject of the service section.

The last two sentences in the history section - You mention the cabin being built in 2013, but then mention that amount of funding associated with the second phase, and then give a figure for 2010. Unless there's a good reason to invert the chronological order (like the cabin being part of phase I) it would make more sense to have 2010 before 2013.

The cabin is part of the first phase, and the second phase has not been built. It remains on hold.

Has anything else happened here since 2013? It could use updating if so.

Nothing worth mentioning.

References - Do any of these Wenatchee World articles have bylines with an author?

The bylines were not included in the online archives/database I use (through the local library). Some of the may have bylines in the print version, but tracking those down would take a while (as the local library is a few hours away).

The images are all appropriately licensed.

Good article overall, just a handful of things that need addressed. Pinging nominator, SounderBruce. Hog Farm (talk) 02:20, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Hog Farm: Thanks for the review. I have addressed all the points you have raised. SounderBruce 02:34, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
