Looking now.....Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 08:28, 7 January 2015 (UTC)
The fruitbodies of its members grow by slowly enveloping bits of grass and vegetation around them.- strange construction - the "envelop" and "around them" go abit oddly. how about "The fruitbodies of its members grow by slowly enveloping bits of nearby grass and vegetation."?- That's better, changed. Sasata (talk) 06:26, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
One of the better-known species is the unusual pinkish-white species Hydnellum peckii, also known as "strawberries and cream" or as the "bleeding tooth fungus" due to the red droplets that appear on the pinkish or whitish fruitbodies.- I'd remove second "species"- Done. Sasata (talk) 06:26, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
link stipe at first instance- Done. Sasata (talk) 06:26, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
In 1981, however, Walter Jülich emended Donk's concept, adding Hydnellum and Sarcodon- a reason would be good to add here- Paragraph expanded and reason added. Sasata (talk) 06:26, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
...the eastern Tropics- link or explain- Changed to tropical Asia. Sasata (talk) 06:26, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
Otherwise looks pretty good. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 04:18, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for reviewing! I may take to FAC sometime after I get a hold of a couple more references and fill in the species redlinks, so any further suggestions are welcome. Sasata (talk) 06:26, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
- Ok - will think on it. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 07:54, 8 January 2015 (UTC)
