Excellent article hink, it's a great read. There is one little thing with the met history (always something, right?); what was steering the storm? Obviously the track would show a really strong ridge of high pressure being the dominant factor but is there any mention of it in an article? Other than that everything is all good. I have no idea, to be honest. I double-checked all of the sources I had (or in the newspapers), and I couldn't find out why. Back then, they didn't have as thorough meteorological stats as we have now. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 23:02, 8 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
