Episode summaries
[edit]An IP editor recently added some episode summaries, and the one for episode 1 seems to be fairly inaccurate or mentions things that simply do not happen. I've just seen the first two episodes so far, but I'm fairly confident there's nothing about Claire being the subject of a documentary, and certainly Kate Baldwin (Kim Dickens' character) does not appear in the episode. Can someone else please corroborate with me on this, and check the remaining summaries if they're in fact reflective of the episodes. Thanks. Drovethrughosts (talk) 17:42, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
They are very odd summaries, and don't match the episodes at all. Wondering if they might have related to the original plans for the series. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 27.253.98.178 (talk) 17:47, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
- I had paid very little attention to the content that was added to the article after the release, but i am surprised nobody else reacted to this blatant vandalism in 17 hours. I watched the episodes last night and i can confirm that the plot summaries were indeed factually inaccurate. I have removed everything the IP had written and i hope i'll have some free time to continue developing the article in the next days. - Radiphus (talk) 18:04, 4 November 2018 (UTC)
I have rewritten the existing summaries to hopefully improve the article based on watching the episodes themselves. This also included added missing summaries and replacing log lines with summaries detailing the actual events rather than the existing promotional teasers. As described in the Reception, the season came in for some criticism around the storyline which makes writing a cohesive summary difficult. Ozflashman (talk) 12:13, 11 December 2018 (UTC)
Is there a better online summary than this? --Espoo (talk) 08:37, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
Critical response and #MeToo
[edit]Critics, in theory, should evaluate the artistic value of the work. If the critic does not evaluate the artistic value, but the evaluate actions of the producers associated with #metoo, then such opinions should not be placed in the section related to the evaluation of a work of art - a series, since this opinion is connected with the politicization of the production process of the series, not the result of the work. For me, such an expert’s statements show his non-neutrality.·Carn !? 08:42, 22 November 2019 (UTC)
