Merge?

Pinhey's Point Historic Site, also known as Horaceville is the historic home of Hamnett Kirkes Pinhey. The site is located on 88 acres of land on the Ottawa River, near Dunrobin, Ontario.
The site has passed hands several times since the family last lived there in 1971. The site is currently operated by the City of Ottawa.
The Restoration
[edit]Major restoration took place on the stone house in the 1990s. The house was restored by architect Julian Smith.
The Museum
[edit]The site now consists of a museum, run by City of Ottawa staff. The museum is open regularly from mid May until the end of August. Guided tours are available, as well as special programming throughout the year.
Riverfest and the Ottawa River
[edit]Because Pinhey's Point Historic Site is located on the Ottawa River, it is a great place for boaters.
On the last weekend in August for the past several years, the Pinhey's Point Historic Site has hosted Riverfest, a festival celebrating the Ottawa's heritage and the Ottawa River. Includes heritage games, demonstrations, live music and much more.
In 2008, Riverfest will be held August 30th and 31st from 10am-4pm.

[edit]Does Anybody Know...
[edit]The measurements of the main building at Pinhey's Point and St. Mary's Church? I'm doing a Historica Fair Project and I want to make a scale model of the two, but I want it to be exact. I would be delighted to get an answer. —Preceding unsigned comment added by InkwellAnimations (talk • contribs) 00:08, 27 February 2009 (UTC)
